The Bywater Corporate Development Services team is led by its founder, Kevin Fiala. Kevin has over 25 years of merger & acquisition, management consulting, and operating experience. Through his years as an advisor, entrepreneur, and operator, Kevin has gained experience in a multitude of industries and business situations.
Prior to founding Bywater Corporate Development Services, Kevin was Vice President of an international merger & acquisition and management consulting firm. Prior to that, he was an Engagement Manager at an international market research and consulting firm. Before entering the consulting industry, Kevin held several planning, marketing, and operations positions within a large integrated oil & gas concern.
Kevin earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Union College, and an MBA in Finance from the Graduate Management Institute at Union College. He also attended the Investment Banking Program at the New York University (NYU) School of Continuing Education.
Kevin is founder of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Connecticut Chapter, and was a founding Board member of the ACG New Jersey Chapter. He was also a Board member of the Connecticut Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), and has sat on the advisory boards of several private companies. In addition, Kevin has authored various articles about mergers & acquisitions and privately-held companies.
Kevin resides in Connecticut with his wife and three children.
